Chasing

Gracie LOVES to play ball and will generally bring me the ball, when I say give she usually lets me have it. Sometimes she is a bit fired up and it takea a bit more work to get it. Now sometimes I take the ball and run with it, she chases me down, then I run some more, and eventually throw it. This tires her out, not that I would ever want to get her tired

Once in a while she wants me to chase her. Is this a bad signal to send her by chasing her around?

I don't know the answer to your question, but if Willie has the ball I chase him. Although when I start chasing him he usually stops, turns around and jumps on me. Then I run away and he starts chasing me. LOL

I'm not sure either, my dogs chase eachother in the backyard all the time when they're playing. My male mixed large terrier usually chases my boxer female all around but she will also chase him after a while too. It's hilarious.
