Cavities?

Daisy yawned really big and I saw a black spot on her tooth. So I opened her mouth and then end is black and verry tip is broken off. But she doesn't act like she is in any pain. She does eat raw hide bones, and I brush her teeth every once in a while. Do I need to take her to the vet, and what would a vet do about a cavity?

All I know is that you have to brush your dogs teeth at the very least every other day for it to do anything for you dogs teeth.

Have you ever taken her to the vet to have her teeth cleaned ? If it's not bothering her I'd just keep an eye on it...
