I was wondering if anyone else had a boxer with cardiomyopathy?
My boxer (Boe) of eight years has just been diagnose with boxer cardiomyopathy just recently.

Delilah was diagnosed with a murmur. It could lead to Cardiomyopathy. They told me that meds could be given to her when it is necessary. I am so sorry.

My parents boxer Cayenne was diagnosed with BCM in June 2002. If you do a search for cardiomyopathy & Cayenne you will find my threads I responded to about him.

I see you live in Ohio. If you already havn't, I would make an appointment at OSU to see Dr. Meurs. She is a VERY good cardiologist and is doing a study on BCM.

I'm sorry Beau was recently diagnosed with this. There are medications available if needed to try to control it a little better. If you have any questions please feel free to pm me!!!!!
