Be prepared to go white
I am the proud and frustrated owner of a beautiful white boxer female. NO she is NOT deaf or blind. She does however, have horrible allergies as all white boxers and most white bulldogs (their cousins) tend to have. My girl is only two and now I am faced with years of expensive treatments in the form of shots and steroids. I prefer natural remedies but have found nothing that works. The allergies did not start until last summer just before she turned two. I have her on "allergy" food but her allergies are environmental. I use pure natural oatmeal shampoo, I was the bedding in "All Free" detergent, we don't use chemicals....I wish there was something I could do to permanently alleviate her suffering safely and naturally.
On that note, there is nothing wrong with WHITE boxers, they are not inferior and they deserve the right to a happy life as any pet or person does!!! If you end up with a white boxer in your litter think twice before sentencing them to death....educate your buyers of the potential problems and let the owner decide if they can handle it.
With all the medication and Vet Visits, I would not trade my boxer girl for the world.....!!!
