canine mass cell tumor

Hello everyone! My precious Kali has been diagnosed with a malignant canine mass cell tumor, grade 1. It has hit her bloodsteam. It is a low aggressive tumor and it has been reccommended to me to have her treated with pretizone. She is a healthy six years old. She has been limping for two weeks and now they are going to xray to see if it has gone into her bones. Has anyone experienced something like this to tell me there is some hope. She is a part of my family.
