Canine Chiropractors?

Has anyone ever heard of using chiropractic to help solve problems in dogs? If you have, did it work on your dog? Riley has had an ongoing problem with her knee and I was wondering if chiropractic treatment might be a way to speed healing.

My friend is a chiropractor who treats friends' dogs occassionally. It could help, and I think it is safe to try. Depends on the specifics of the knee problem and what brought it on, I suppose.

Also lots of good news reguarding acupuncture in animals. The owner of the vet practice that I go to is a holistic vet and offers acupuncture, I like that it is available if Cami were to ever need it.

Physical therapy may be a way to go... Chiros tend to be temporary solutions... a therapist can teach you how to help for a lifetime.

I just saw a story a few weeks ago on our local news (I think) where this massage therapy school was including animals in their curriculum. I thought that was a wonderful idea. Maybe massages could help also.
