Please visit the Feeding and BARF forums as there are numerous threads there on this topic. Everyone has their own opinion on what is best, and not all diets will work for all dogs - each dog is an individual (a concept the pet food companies don't seem to be able to grasp....).

Earth friendly folks in Southern Calif. spray nematodes for flea control.They are living micro-organisms that eat the flea larva. Very safe for pets.The only problem is the grass has to be moist for them to live and they only live a few about 2-3 months and then you have to respray. Also food grade diatamaceous earth.
