My boxer goes outsied before I go to bed (usually at about 10 PM) and then she comes to bed with me. She takes my spot as soon as I get up to go to work at 0630, she does not want to go outside. She will then sleep till about 10 AM, sometimes 11. She stays in bed untill she is good and ready to come downstairs and go outside and take care of business. This girl can hold it a long time, but we don't make her, we put her out quite often, and when she really wants outside she will go to the back door and do a little dance for us.

My two go to bed between 11:30pm and 12 am. Since they sleep in their crates, they can't come wake mommy up and get up whenever mommy drags her butt out of bed, usually around 9 or 9:30 am!! :)

Wow, Gus is an angel!

My husband and I tried to make Gus sleep in his crate when he came home at 8 weeks old. He would get up around 4 or 5 to go for a potty break. After 1 or 2 weeks (when we had fallen so much in love with him) we decided to let him sleep with us :) He's slept as long as we want to sleep ever since. During the week, I get up at 5 am and drag Gus out of bed for breakfast and play time before I have to go to work at 7, then he stays in his crate until 9 or so when my husband wakes up (he works from home on his own schedule). On the weekends we normally sleep until 9 and Gus will sleep until we get up. He's so easy!

Austin goes out at night a lot. Not every night, but often enough! I know he goes because he does that famous "boxer charge" for the door after he poops!

Bedtime for Bonzo

Dexter will go out everynight before bed between 9:30 and 10:30. Then he gets up when his big sissy gets up for school @ 6:45a.m. He won't ring his bell until about 7:15 though. On the weekends he will get up with my hubby go potty and then sneak into bed with me to sleep late! Likes his lazy weekends too!

Sleep.......?????

I haven't slept in over 12 years. I have two beautiful girls, 12yrs & 4yrs, plan on getting a little boy in the spring.
Wouldn't trade any of it ........for anything.

I used to worry that Beau would pee in my bed if I didn't take him out in the middle of the night. After taking him out in the middle of the night a couple of times and having him just stand there groggily, I decided to try letting him sleep through the night. Wow, does he ever sleep. He usually falls asleep when I am reading and won't get out of bed in the morning until I ask if he wants to go potty. I guess I should consider myself lucky...if only he didn't sleep ON me, I think I might get some sleep!

No, not in this house! LOL!

I have two human toddlers who still get up sometimes at night.

Then, there's our boxer, who has to potty at 3:10am every morning. Unfortunely, she just can't hold it until morning.

Signing off............Mrs. Sleepless

Wow, I guess I must be really lucky too. Both of my babies go out for the last time before I go to bed, anywhere between 9 and 12 and they don't get up until we get them up in the mornings. Which during the week, depending on DH's schedule, could be anywhere from 6 or 7:30, and on the weekends, we sleep until about 9. But the only time they wake us up to go out is if they are not feeling well..
