Can Boxers be taught to retrieve?

I, too, know how Basak feels....Telmar will go and get whatever i throw and turn around at FULL speed and run towards me, only to divert at the last min and usually go past me or his favorite is to spin around and head in the other direction! The only time Sasha will bring you a toy is if you are giving too much attention to Telmar and then she lures him away with it!! Such STiNKERS!

I think my dogs could be trained to "retrieve", I just don't know if I would want the bird after they are done with it . They bring back toys but after they have been completely demolished. I think a Boxer can be "trained" to do anything. But then they will modify the training to suit their own purposes (i.e. turn it into a game :D ).

Emma loves to fetch, we also like to play monkey in the middle with her....LOL... she loves to retrieve things, but then she thinks that she needs to tug-of-war before you throw it again. It’s like she saying you can have it that easy, you have to work for it...LOL..... Got to love a boxer scents of humor.
