I posted before about my baby boy Hershey, but I have an update. I am very sad and worried about my Hershey. He is a seven year old brindle boy who we love deeply. We adopted him two years ago, and in that short amount of time he has become a wonderful part of our family. We were concerned with Hershey because about a month ago he started loosing weight. When we took him to the vet he checked him for worms and that came back negative. He was also loosing his hair so the doc was concerned about possible Cushings Disease. (Because his belly is very bloated too!) When you look at him his appearance is that everything (meaning his body fat) just dropped to his belly. When he was weighed his weight is exactly the same. That is why the doc thought Cushings. When we had the test done it came back negative. The doc called me today and told me we need to get an X-ray and check him for possible tumors, because his belly is so bloated, also because his liver and kidney levels are up with his blood tests. Has anyone ever had anything like this?
