A cooler will only last so long. Should I just get a small bag of kibble? I am thinking about dehydrated raw, but I haven't seen it in any stores. I can order it online, but it won't come in time. Anyone have any suggestions?

What about cans of mackeral, salmon or sardines? I also buy cans of tripe to take along (google trippett). I have also used Honest Kitchen - the dehydrated raw food.

Yeah I am looking at Honest Kitchen, there is a delivery service in the next town over but I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone. The problem with the canned fish is that Millie's never had it before. She's only 6 months so we're only up to chicken, turkey, pork, and beef-slowly adding things. I don't want to give her a meat source she's never had while on vaca, know what I mean? But thanks!! In the future that would be good, except I'd have to keep the sardines away from my boyfriend...YUCK! I don't know how he can eat those

How long will you be camping? I take up to 4-5 days worth of food for 3 boxers when we go to shows and never have issues.

A cooler with blue "ice packs" will last just fine in a cooler. Just freeze the food ahead of time, and pack it all together really tight.

We take all our food with us for camping. The most we ever do is 5 days. We freeze the food before we go and keep it in an air tight cooler with lots of ice and ice paks. We keep our own meat in there too!
We use a mini cooler for the food that Luke will eat right away b/c it needs to be defrosted.

We have two other seperate coolers for other things like beer and other food stuff because your always opening it to get something out! The meat cooler is only opened when needing the meat. Get yourself a good cooler and it will be fine:)
