Me and my girlfriend have fallen in love with the cutest boxer but the only thing is that he has one testicle. I have done research on a dog having only one testicle and I understand that he will not be able to reproduce but is that it? Are there more health concerns? Please help!!

he must be neutered as this can be a condition that can be passed on to offspring and his neuter surgery - he will have 2 incisions dependong on where the lost testicle is. but yes thats about it

The surgery will cost a little more too, more like the cost of a spay. It is important that it be done, as the retained testicle is more likely to become cancerous. It can also wrap itself around the intestines causing serious problems. So he should be neutered sooner than later.
