We figured out that at 10 weeks she had already cost us $1500. We even have the pet insurance that covers all vacinations, blood work and all those fun puppy tests. Plus she got ringworm and stung by a wasp, which we learned that she is EXTREMELY allergic to. I kind of have to wonder if someone who wants a "cheap" dog is really prepared to give it the home it deserves.
