Amen to the sharp elbows. Somehow Lucy always manages to be comfortable with her elbow jabbed up under my rib cage. Stupid me still loves to have her in my lap.

I know exactly what you mean! lol :)

Buster is now 7 mo old. I swear, sometimes his favorite thing is to walk all over mom and dad, whether it be while they are in bed or on the couch. He has no idea how much he weighs. He will step on our face, pressure points, etc. When he finds a postition that is particullarly painful, he will just stop and strike a pose. What a weirdo! We'd yell at him, but its just too funny.

LOL!! :)
Justice does the same thing!! He doesnt seem to have any idea how much he weighs. He will sit on you anywhere he wants....I was laying in be this am and he decided that he was going to lay in the side of my head!!

Will boxers actually sit on the floor by themselves? I didn't know that.... I have never seen Willis do it! At least not when there's a lap in the room :D . And if you're in bed, watch out... you are part of the bed and he has license to walk all over you... those darn paws are painful.

Have your boxers ever stepped on your bare foot? Ouch that hurts!!!

Boxer Buddy
With me lying on my back on the couch, Buster will stand on me, with front paws on my throat, and hind legs on my unit..Then, he just looks off in the distance. I swear he knows what he's doing.

Gunner will not lay or sit on anyone. He never has and if I pull him onto me he is very nervous and will get down as soon as he can. Since he didn't come to live with us till he was 4 years old I can only assume he was taught never to lay or sit on someone. Once in a great while when he is in the bed with me he will lay his head on my leg.

Quinsi will sit on us all the time. He will even come lay on me when I am in the recliner. If I fall asleep on the couch I will wake up with Quinsi laying on my head. He thinks he is a 70 pound lap dog. (he is 9 months, god help us when he is full grown :D )

Oh yes, those claws digging into your feet are the worse. Even more so when they are playing and you get all 8 paws on your feet in a matter of seconds! grin2icon

Perfect Gift for Male Boxer Owners

My uncle, who also has 2 Boxers, was always complaining how my Charlie ALWAYS hit him in the same SENSITIVE spot everytime they came over to visit. As a gag gift, we bought him some underwear with a built-in cup.

Christmas is just around the corner. Here's the perfect gift for the male boxer owner:

You have your choice of several different styles. ;) :)

Boxer Insane
This past summer I was getting dressed in my swim suit in front of my friend and she asked me what the heck was going on with me...I asked what are you talking about? She says Dora, you have bruises all over your legs! I started laughing and told her it was Rocky, she said I am nuts to keep my dogs when they are clearly abusing me!

Some people just don't get it!

It wouldn't be so bad but the claws aways get me scratched up. I have to pull a blanket over me to protect myself, then Prancer thinks there are monsters in the blanket and she digs and jackhammers on me. Now that is puppy love!

That's how Keno is too ! It's funny because dh has this habit of pulling the blanket up over his face while he's napping in the recliner (or resting his eyes as he calls it..lol)...anyway, Keno always thinks that the blanket over the face means it's time to play and he will dig and dig at dh's blanket until he gets underneath it ! :)

My Jake is 1yr 8mos old and the bruising has just about been eliminated on my part. But for a while it looked like I was getting beat up I was so black and blue. You know they don't mean to hurt you, boxers just have 'the paw and nails of death'.
Every time Jake jumps up on the couch or bed my husband automatically protects his sensitive area. Big baby that's 70lbs who thinks he's 5lbs!
