Bumps

My puppy Bentley has 3 tiny bumps under his fur in the middle of the top of his head. He does not seem to even notice them. I noticed them when I was petting him. I did not see them I felt them. At first I thought it was a tick but its not almost like a scab. Has anyone else encountered this or do you all think that all three are perhaps actually scabs?

My guess is they are scabs from a scratch or bug bites. Ours get little bumps like that from time to time - I would give it some time and if they don't go away in a week or so you may want to give the vet a call.

Puppies get into a lot of things. So if you have other dogs, cats or even prickly plants he probably is scratched. If it one scab, instead of a few that may have come from one scratch, then a bug bite probably. We have a had a lot of sticky weather in MN lately, so the deerflies have been horrendous lately. Usually flea/tick stuff keeps them away, but not lately.

Also, could it be dried slobber or eye boogers in the fur? Or are they for sure on the skin?
