When we rescued Duke he had this wart looking bump on the top of the head, we were informed that it wasn't harmful. But now he has more of them growing on his neck and at the very top of his shoulders. Are boxers know to have warts like this or I should I be extremely worried that it could be cancer. They don't bother him or hurt him at all. The one of his head is blackish gray in color. The ones that are coming up don't hurt him either. I don't know what they are and it is scary. If anyone has had any experience with these sort of things then please let me know what action you had to take.

What tests were done to determine that the original bump wasn't harmful?
Have you had a vet take a look at the original and or additional growths?
Boxers tend to grow "things". Sometimes they are not cancerous, sometimes they are.
No way to tell unless you have a vet look at them and at minimum perform a needle aspiration however they are not always 100% conclusive and a biopsy needs to be done.
Could be something simple like a hystiocytoma (not cancerous) or warts.
