Bump Under Eye, getting larger with pics!!

Hi Folks,

Need some advice... Our almost 5 year old female Boxer, Flower, out of nowhere this past weekend grew a small bump under her left eye, see pics.

My wife and I noticed it has gotten slightly bigger and we wanted to get some opinions before going to the vet. We also have a very hyper 5 month old male puppy that is very aggressive when it comes to play time with the rest of the boxer clan. She takes some good punches to the face and am wondering if this could be battle wounds etc... Below are some pics of the puppy, Brutus, and our 10.5 male Garcia.

Any info is greatly appreciated, thanks.

It doesn't look like an injury to me. I would keep a close eye on it and if it doesn't go away on it's own, I would definitely get it checked out your vet.

My Yorkie had a similar bump,the vet said to just leave it unless it bothers him or major change,& if he ever needed any surgery that would be the time to remove it,we had it done when he was out for surgery & he had no problems with it

I can agree with that, it doesn't bother her what so ever right now, keeping an "eye" on the eye.

My 5 yr. old female boxer has the same thing. My husband is a farmer, and used to have cattle and hogs. He looked at it and said it was a sty. Said it would get better on its own. she has one now in the left eye, had one in the right about 4 months ago that went away on its own but left behind a small patch of discolored skin where the sty was.

Update on the eye....

Now we are thinking it is either a sty or a blood blister from a Brutus (puppy) punch or 2 or 3... We have been doing a warm compress which brought some blood to the surface. Doing regular warm compress overnight has made it shrink considerably. We have a vet apt on Monday just in case but things are looking much better.

Roxy had a bump that looked like that on her ear. It kept getting bigger and when I took her to the vet for something else, he looked at it and ended up putting a needle in it to see if it would bleed or if it had puss. Well, it has puss and he just squeezed it until all the stuff inside was out. It did come back a couple of days later, but it was small and eventually it went away. But, since your girls is under the eye, I don't know. Maybe an infected hair? I'm wondering if that was what was on Roxy's ear. He never really said what it was. I'd have a vet look at it though.
