Just can't wait

A few weeks ago, our Gunnar found his way into my son's build-a-bear doggie house. Guess he didn't want us to have to wait until Spring. :rolleyes: Now he doesn't fit inside (though he still tries) so we can't wait to get one that doesn't grow quite so quickly!

Sounds like everyone is talking about some type of boxer teddy bear (?). What exactly is Build A Bear???
I remember a while back, when we voted for the boxer, but I have no real idea what Build A Bear is? I just thought EVERYTHING should be boxer, so why not vote?!

Gunnar is totally adorable- you should send that pic to Build-a-bear and tell them the story with it! They'd probably find it funny too.

Jacob's mom- I'm so with you in believing that no matter what it is, it should be available with a boxer on it.

My niece just got some build-a-monkey thing and I was like "yeah cute whatever, everybody's getting a build-a-boxer this year as an early x-mas present!!"

Jacobs Mom; Build a bear is a place that you go and build your own stuffed animals they prob started off with bears hence the build a bear name. but they have pretty much every animal and now they added a boxer.. Yippee.
Its actually a pretty neat place, they are usually in shopping malls and they have huge binds filled wth the furry outer shell of stuffed animals. you pick the one you want then you go to the stuffing stations and they make you do some silly stuff like spin around kiss a felt heart that they add inside.. you step on a peddal and the stuffing goes inside to bring your furry shell animal to life. they get stitched up and then you go to another station that has a computer so you can name your new animal and it either comes with a birth certif or a story your choice. and it gets printed right there. then they have about a million acessories and outfits even shoes that you can purchase for your new build a bear/pet. they even have different sounds that you can add or recorded messages.. We've done them many time for gifts and they are very cute. Not in Canada

Thanks for the site. Unfortunately, there are no stores in Canada. It's too bad because it sounds like an excellent place, that I'm sure my son (& myself) would enjoy.

Actually there are stores in Canada, I don't know where you from but in Ontaro there is a store in Mississauga and Vaughan!!!!

I didn't know that Build A Bear donates $1 from each Kennel Pal sale to to support programs for local animal shelters. One dollar on it's own doesn't sound like much, but they do add up!
