Bug Bites?

My poor little Trooper has about 20-30 small red bumps in his groin area. They showed up a few days ago as red rings. Then by the end of day they were swollen "blister" looking things. I called the vet and he said that they were just normal bug bites. We live in Maine and our State Bird is the black fly. The vet said that they would go away in 2-3 days. It have been about 4 and there has been no change in them yet. They do not seem to bother him, but I want to know if anybody else has an opinion.

I know bailey gets bit alot!! But the bumps are gone in like 2 days!! I would take him to the vet just to be on the safe side. Especially if the vet said 2 days. Better to be safe than sorry.

I'd take in him just to be sure that it's not a superficial infection. And if it's just bites the vet can get you an antihistamine to help them go away.
