As a new owner of a rescued boxer, "The Budman", I am unfamilar with some of the terminology. What is "kidney beaning"? I must say, as a former Weimarner owner, Budman has a distinct personality -- fun! He does the flying dog when you come home, loves to be held and follows me everywhere. He's quickly become a good companion.

Hi and welcome to Boxerworld! Kidney beaning is when their little butts are a wigglin so fast that it almost touches thier nose,and thay make a "C" shape. So happy!! They are the best dogs in my eyes, and I don't think you will hear any different on this website!

If he is excited and his head and tail are both facing the same direction, that is a kidney bean.

Kidney beaning

Thank you one and all for the warm welcome to BW. I appreciate everyone's help with my question of kidney beaning. Can't wait to download some pictures and talk to all of you again. The Budman came into my life 40 lbs underweight, suffers from allergies and hives, but that has never stopped him from being a happy, fun loving dog. He's always ready to go and ready for fun.
