I have a story too. I have a small simplehuman trashcan in the bathroom that has step lid on it. The pups never bother with it because there isn't anything interesting in it. (I use a DivaCup instead of tampons or pads so I don't think much of it) but my friend put a pad in the garbage one night when she was staying at my house. When we woke up in the morning, the pad was laying on the living room floor where her boyfriend noticed it. At this time they were newly together so she was so embarrassed, Luckily it wasn't eaten by whoever got it out of the trash but I am sure my friend would have wished they would have ate it!

LMAO! Those stories are just too funny. thank goodness no one was seriously ill from any of it but it makes you wonder why on earth they would pick something like that out of the trash can as a snack?

Kinda funny though you must admit once a swallower tough always a swallower my Harley ate everthing never had an obstruction he passed a bandana found it on the lawn didn't know he had swallowed it but he threw alot of things up in his lifetime

Our Japanese Spitz. Loki, used to reach into the garbage can and chew my products up and leave them all over the floor just timing it right for guest to come over!! I used to always have to check the house just in case!!

i have a trash can with a lid but he can open it. grr!
i have to make sure i take everything to the kitchen garbage can....one he can't open.

Jersey loves to eat baby wipes ..... not used ones but new ones right out of the box.... at my brothers he went into my nieces room and ate 8 or so!!!!! he passed 4 one way and threw up another 4 one at a time over the course of 2 days... I was very worried for a few days! But every time we go over he still looks for baby wipes to eat :D
