Bruce is not well and it's his brthday today

I know your heart is broken right now, but if Bruce has to go to the bridge, I'm sure Joshua will be waiting for him and they will be together. Please try to take some comfort in that. She's right, Paula, leaving is not an option. No one would want that for you - not your son, not Bruce, not anyone here!

Keep us posted on Bruce's situation - I hope that he had a great birthday yesterday!

Whatever happens, us people here at Boxerworld are more than willing to do to help you with your struggles. Maybe someone in the area where you live (from this site) would be willing to come over and visit with you so that you can have a shoulder to cry on, or just a friend for you to talk to and them to listen.

Good luck with whatever happens with Bruce, but I'm sure everyone agrees with Austin's Mom, leaving is not an option now.

Bruce is feeling alot better today

Bruce is feeling a lot better today he stopped having his fits altough he is still very wobbly on the legs and just wants to follow me everywhere i go mind you what Boxer dosn't He just had a short walk and he should be back to his old self tomorrow

I'm glad Bruce is doing better. If his seizures come back bad again maybe he just needs his meds adjusted differently. I would definitely talk to your vet about that before you make any decisions. But hopefully he will do well now and you will have a much happier new Year in2005!

Hi The vet says that he would not even think about adjusting his tablets he is now taking 20 White tabs a day 2 caspules and one yellow tablet and he says that is enough I sometimes wonder if he has a brain tumour but the vet says noway cos he is only one I don't know what to do cos i know he'll have more we got him when he was 3 months old and without fail he has seizures every fornight usually he'll have between 10-16 and we're not talking small ones he has me crashing round the room with him I have to lie on him and pin him down otherwise he would break everything in the house I do feel for him but i also love him I've always wanted a boer but i didn't know i would have to wacth him suffer like sometimes 1 seizure caan last an hour or more

Hi Bruce is doing well

We took Bruce to the vets on Thursday The vet did increase his tabs I asked the vet if he thought it was cruel and the vet said no when he's not having his fits he's fit and really lively. He said the only time it would ben cruel to keep Bruce alive is if the tablets were absouletly knociking him out and he couldn't do anything He said the only promblem is when he is having loads ofn cluster fits together that can be dangerous so when i go to the vets and he's had a loads seizure then he hasb to up the dose Doing well so far though
