Boxer Booster
Before I start, yes I know my dog came from a BYB. That being said, here is the text of the email I got from my breeder stating that she was selling my Boxer's Sire. (Beautiful Dog by the way)
I emailed her an update on brooke, her reply was that she was selling Cassius Von Dane, my pup's Sire. When asked for her reasons this was her reply.
"The vet said the snorty sound could have come from his side.(even though a cold is what brought it on), and possibly even the kennel cough vaccine. We know it didn't come from the female's side,and since this was his first breeding, we think it is on his side. Even though he doesn't have it himself. I hope I am not making a mistake in selling him. But, that is how we decide , who to keep for breeders , and who to sell. I still have four breedable males, even after selling him. And Elvis or Mugs can breed the females that are related to Rocky. Or I can use one of Linda's males. If you know anyone interested in buying him , let me know. He is $700. And I will require he be neutered. Thanks."

"how old is he? has he been health tested. was he shown? Tell me more about him"
(yes i know I should have asked before I got brooke, hindsight is 20/20)
She then replied
"Angel, He is just a little over a year old. He is so full of energy. He is house trained and crate trained , he is in the house now. No , we don't show our dogs. No he hasn't been health tested. Just the regular tests the vet does when you get a new puppy. I raised him from a 7 week old puppy. He is double-registered , with Akc, and Ckc, but I require he be neutered. Thanks,"
I wanted him, but Chris wouldn't allow it. We are busy closing on a house and furnishing it. Budget says no.
