I have 2 classics fawns, one with a white blaze down the nose and one with a completely black mask (well he actually has some delayed flashiness now but at one time was all black;) ) So I took it to be that's the difference. Lexi has a white bib, a white blaze and the tips of her feet are white but she does not have enough white to be considered flashy so she's a classic fawn.

I chose classic fawns. Although I have seen some very nice looking brindles :p

Thanks for the compliment!
When I was little, we always had fawn boxers.
Danco was out first brindle one. Nika the second. Now, I'm very mutch in love with the brindle boxers. The darker, the better and as little white as possible. I love them!

Monty has a deep red coat with brindle stripes, a white chest, four white socks and a black and white mask. He is an absolute beauty.
However, I voted for a classic fawn plus black mask, as this was the first boxer my parents owned and I grew up with back in the 60's.
Only two days before Christmas I saw a family walking a boxer puppy about 12 weeks old. The puppy was a beautiful red, no white markings at all, and had an all black mask. Striding along it just looked magnificent. It struck a cord with me and brought back happy memories of that first boxer.

I voted reverse brindle, which is Gidget. Funny thing is I had never seen a reverse brindle until I got her, nor had I seen any whites. I love her dark coloring with just a hint of fawn showing through. She looks like velvet!

I must be so thick. Tess looks just like Gidget (absolutly beautiful) but I never knew until now that they were classed as reverse brindle!! What does 'ordinary' brindle look like then???

muttersley, Yes, aren't our babies beautiful! My thoughts on the "ordinary" brindle are more fawn showing with less black "stripeing". I love her dark color.:) I have seen a few in the gallery that actually have very little brindle. Marcia

Great test......I have to make first choice and all white as that is what my prescious boy is......but I have found lwhat has really caught my eye over the years has been the flashy brindle. I will rivit to that color combo in a crowd of Boxers....:o ...but I will keep that our secret....since owning (or should I say being "owned" by a white....I must say I now see this beautiful color in my gravity field . evilicon

We have two girls.

Cerys is what I think is referred to as a reverse brindle with a black mask and Summer is a flashy brindle.

In Scotland fawn (we call them red) boxers are getting extremely hard to find.
