There's really not much new to report on Fraser's condition. Here's the latest that was printed in today's newspaper...

The brindled boxer a neutered male of about 2 or 3 years was found with utility ties tied around its muzzle and apparently its penis. The dog has been given antibiotics, a special diet, and is taking medication to counteract elevated liver activity.

The good news is that the reward to find the jerk who did this is now up to over $12,000. That was at the end of last week so it could be more than that right now. We all know that money talks so hopefully someone who knows will speak up soon. The police do have a few good leads that they're following up on to.

Why does it seem that there are soooo many HORRIBLE injustices done to our wonderful breed? Remember the poor baby in Louisiana (I think) who was found on a fence, beaten and left for dead? Then there is poor Julia Valentine in AZ and now this. It makes me sick. Boxers are the sweetest dogs I have ever known, how anybody could do something like that, I'll never understand it. It breaks my heart. I hope Frazier is doing better. He is in my prayers.

Another Update!!

Good news on Fraser today!!

He's gained 5 pounds since he was found and his foster family says that he's starting to show his personality. He's starting to bark and they said he's wagging his tail constantly!! His condition is improving quite a bit as the days go by. While he's still being seen frequently by the vets, it's not an every day thing anymore.

I think they said they're finally starting to take applications now for his adoption as well. I hope whoever the lucky person is who ends up with Fraser spoils him rotten. After everything he has gone through, he deserves nothing but the best!!

PS. They still haven't caught the person behind this, but they are following up on some credible leads. I keep hoping to hear that they found the SOB who did this, but nothing yet.

More good news!!! Here's the latest on Fraser!! :D

Fraser is recovering very nicely. He is coughing less and his personality is showing. He loves attention and is getting plenty from his foster family. He has been released by the vet and will be put up for adoption. The boxer rescue folks do a very thorough search in finding the best homes for all their rescued boxers, including Fraser. He is receiving the best care and is in the best situation he has ever known!

I too have been following this story,this happened in New Hampshire,the sweet thing is now giving a bark and wagging his tail,he will be ok. the police are looking for a white van with ma. plates who was spotted in the area at the time,lets hope they have more information then what their giving the public.as far as asking what kind of person could do this well lets call them for what they really are, MONSTERS

Great to hear that Frasier is recovering from his horrible mistreatment. I hope those insects that did this to him get their due - from a big nasty Hell's Angel in prison

The next good news we hear will be that they have caught the scum suckers and have put them into jail. And I think they would actually get time because of the outrage of the public. Then maybe I could let some of this anger go. But until then, I'm so pissed I'm ready to drive up there and look for that van myself and find those people, tie them up like they did Frazier and leave them several miles in the woods where nobody WILL ever find them.
