I know what you are gonig through, Or atleast have an idea. Our Guinness was laid to rest last night just before 6pm. It is devistating, to put it simply. I didn't even want to get out of bed this am. No commotion from the kennel as usual (my boys shared one kennel, because Guinness liked to poop in the kennel if he was by himself) Scariest part is, he was just over a year old, and deteriorated rapidly as well. Just days ago he was bouncing off the walls, and almost overnight it turns into what it has today, the loss of our pup. Sharing the story helps a little, I truely believe that. We have no real ideas, or concrete answers other than it was his time, and god had a better plan for him. As my wife said her father will look after him until I am able to again! My wife and I use to chuckle about how attached I was to my dogs, you really don't truly realize just how much until they aren't there anymore.

Godspeed Smirnoff, may our angel Guinness keep you company!

So very sorry to learn of your loss. We helped our last two angels at such young ages to the bridge due to brain tumors. It is so very, very difficult to have suddenly decline from their playful, exurburant selves to babies who don't know where they are and have lost the ability to function. Please gain comfort from the knowledge that you gave your baby a great loving home and you will always laugh at the great crazy things he did.
