Both Zoe and Cat are great inside of the house. I have never even found any evidence of the getting on the furniture. Flash was good as well. I think the key is plenty toys.;)

I also leave the T.V. on when I am gone. She watches Animal Planet all day. I wished I had a video recorder so I could see what she does all day.

same ol same ol story...

i am usually with jasper for four days in a row... the two days i am at work and if it isn't a weekend and my wife is at work he is now crated... he will be three months next week and (knock on wood) so far no accidents even when he's been left up to five hours in his crate... i agree with everyone else on here though that either yourself or someone you know should come and let him or her out AT LEAST around lunch time, I am very lucky that i have a friend who usually "abducts" him for the whole afternoon. (between you and i, i think it is because he uses him as a wingman to pick up women... ) :)

Pretty much the same as everyone else,
I'm out the door by 8 and home for 7, Ruby goes out for half an hour before I leave in the morning, when I come home we have 15 minutes of playing catch and chase them a 30-40 minute walk. She tends to empty the recycling box of plastic as she has free run of the house, but doesnt really destroy anything.
She did go through a phase of chewing parcels that came through the letter box but has stopped now, and she will occasionally take a shoe to bed (no idea why, she doesnt chew it just hides it under her blankets)

She has never been crated and seems happy with her routine, the odd occasion I am really late home shes just happier to see me :)

Hi there,
We live in Manhattan and both the hubby and I work from about 8 to 5:30-6ish everyday. Maximus was crated as puppy and then once he was housetrained/older we started to gradually give him more freedom (about 10 mths). Knock on wood - he does great when home!cool2icon BUT exercise is keeeey!

Here is our schedule:

Mond/Wed/Friday - he goes to daycare. It's fantastic! They really watch the dogs and make sure only allowed if have good temperment. Also great b/c they place the dogs by energy not necessarily size - so great since so many little dogs in the city - he doesn't go nutz when he sees them... cool2icon When he comes home on those days - he is pooped! Eats and then crashes for the night!

Tues/Thurs - Before I go to work - wake up early and take him either for 45 minute walk or to dog park so he is good and tired. Leave him w/ a kong stuffed w/peanut butter or marrow bone... Then the dogwalker comes and takes him out for an hour around 1. When we get home from work we all head to the dogpark for some playtime! appicon

W/e's - dog park action, walkies and extra lovin! lovicon

Boxers are the sweetest funniest cutest dogs EVER! All the best to you and your final decision!
