What a funny thread--I will definitely be using some of these phrases!

The only one I can think of right now is when Ruby hears something or isn't sure of something, she'll have her ears pulled back against her head, but one ear is always a little more cocked than the other so we say that she's "got her beret on."

We have what we like to call the "rabid wolf". My two get SO into their nightly wrestling it sounds like a serious knock down drag out. Cracker doesn't have so much of a puppy voice now.

We also have the "pillow fluff". Ginger stole my nice couch pillows and put them on the floor. She fluffs them up every night before she lays down with her head on them. They also do the "bed fluffing". No good unless you throw it, paw it, dig at it and finally lay down.
THey do several of the other things mentioned too but I hadn't named them yet hehe.

All our boxers have done this. A variation is when they want you to play with a toy with them, they come up and poke us in the leg with the toy. It's usually all full of slobber, too! Anyone have a good name for this?

It took me a day or so to remember what we called this one. Actually, I received some of these today and then remembered the name!

"Drive By Slobbers" - This is when they walk past us, or put their mushy lips on us, and we get the wet slimy business. Ha ha ha!

Oscar and Chloe have "lazy legs", too. I thought that there was something strange about my dogs. I didn't know that other boxers did this too!! That is so funny. Do other breeds of dogs do this, or is this a "boxer thing"? I had never seen it before and I just thought there was something about my dogs. I am glad to know that they are "normal", in the boxer sense of the word.

When Omar wants something and he crys/barks at us for it, we call that his "puppy bark". It's not his usual, protective boxer "woof", but more of a high pitched bark - like a puppy.

I just remembered this one, because he had them last night. BED EARS!!! Instead of bed head, Muggsey gets bed ears. He lifts his head up all tired and his ears are stuck on his head or flipped back and every which way. He looks so cute and I always say to hubby, "Look at Muggsey, he has bed ears!" Then we usually start cracking up and Muggs just looks at us and puts his head back down.
