We currently have three boxers and I love them all to death but the newest member of our family (an 11 month old male) is starting to show aggression towards our oldest female. The female is 9 years old and he refuses to let her eat and is constantly fighting with her. My husband and I are both home all day and we're spending a lot of time playing referee. Our female dog is not handling this very well so we've made a decision to give the 11 month old male away.

He comes out of a great line and is really is a great dog. He's spoiled rotten but is very sweet, loving and affectionate - and he adores playing with kids. My family is heartbroken over this decision but I promised my son I would find a great family for him.

If anyone is aware of a good, loving family that is interested please let me know. I will gladly answer questions, email pictures, pedigrees, shot records, etc.

perhaps you don't have to get rid of him. You said he is spoiled rotten, that may be the problem. I would honestly suggest that you seek help from a behaviourist in your area. My adopted guy Tyson was very male aggressive and we got him over it by altering how we behaved towards him. Re-direct your pup's attention with something more interesting than perhaps playing with your older girl when she isn't in the mood. He will come around.

Give him a chance and talk to a behaviourist, call and ask your local boxer rescue group for some aggression reduction techniques.

After you try the behavior thearpy. If that doesn't work or if you don't try it. I live in NW Indiana and am looking for a playmate for my 2 year old Boxer named Buster. I live on 10 acres and have looked everywhere. I love my dog to death. I am willing to drive.
