Boxers + glass door = ?

Sam and Chief just bounce off our door and look around like "what just happened?? I thought it was open! " :confused:

MacTier does the same. When my boys take him into the yard to play ball, he gets so fired up, he forgets that there's a door there!

Perhaps we should just leave all the doggie goober smeared on the inside as a marker. You know, that may be why it's there in the first place.

so true!! the only time axe has "almost" hit the door full-speed was right after DH cleaned the door!!! no more slobber, no more door, apparently!!! it was so funny to see him skidd across the slippery deck, trying to catch himself! i think he saw his reflection and went, "Whoa, wait a sec! maximus is behind me!" it was the funniest thing! we laughed for hours about that one!

Mackensie often ran around the yard, doing her laps, as we call it, and then ran head first into the sliding glass door. After she nearly knocked herself out, we decided to put blue painters tape across the door. Not very attractive, but she hasn't run into the door since.

We actually put some static boxer decails on the door! They can't miss them (and they stopped running into it)!.... might be better than goobers!

Haha! Millie hasn't run into the door yet, but Oscar does it on occasion. I feel bad because whenever he does it, I can't help but bust out laughing (so long as he's okay)....

Wow! Glad your dog is okay. Sounds like he's a strong fella!

The first night my baby came to my property he pushed through my screen door! He wasn't hurt, but I was just a bit surprised! It's like "Hello! I'm goin' to stay with you now!" I've since had it rescreened and he has run into it only once. LOL
