We absolutely adore our Boxer. My husband and daughter want lots more of them but I have told them to wait until after the baby arrives (July 2002). I have also reminded him about our vehicle. Our suv can only hold so many. I think the banks and fast food restraunts would close up when they seen us. We already get lots of treats for 1 boxer!

I had never owned a boxer before. My husband wanted one and since our dog from the pound ran away we bought a boxer. At the time my children were 1 and 3.Anastasia protects my youngest.the kids love her they are rough with her(pulling ears)and she doesn't mind.Pulling ears is a no-no but it happens.Anastasia response to my childrens commands better than she does to my husband or me.I would never have another dog but a boxer around my children.Due to jealousy we just added another boxer to the family.

Loke is the greatest with my rambunctious 4 year old! THey have been together since baby hood. I don't trust Corgan (sheltie) as far as I can throw him with the kids. He is tolerant but I just know it wouldn't take much for him to snap. It's obvious he loves the kids but he's not a boxer. As for Buttons (pomeranian) he's still a puppy so I don't know how he'll do. I know of no other dog that would let a child ride on her back like a horse, pull the lips and ears (even though it's forbiddern, it does happen occasionally). SHe is a true partner in crime. :D
