I was checking out petfinder for a great aunt that wants to adopt a new dog and was so sad to see all these boxers that need homes :( . The first one is a seven year old boy who is at the Kitsap county Humane Society. I checked out their website but couldn't figure out if is a high kill shelter, kind of thinking yes, as they didn't have any mention of it. I am most worried about him. His name is Buster and he is a flashy fawn.
The other boy is 8 month old Roman. He is at the Human Society at Happy paws farm in Arlington. His owners are moving and gave him up. He is not neutered and can't be with kids or cats. There was no picture, so I don't know what he looks like. They are a no kill shelter. Third is another boy, again 8 months old. He is a brindle and is at Grays Harbor Pug and Boston terrier rescue in Aberdeen. I think they may be no kill. WA Boxer Rescue has 7 dogs available, but they are no kill, so I don't think they need a home as badly as poor Buster.
So, if you have been contemplating adding another boxer to your house....maybe rescue?
