Poor lady!

But on another note..why is it you only hear when the "big, bad" dogs attack?? I have heard just as many if not more horror stories of lap rats attacking and biting! For once I'd love to see a picture of a nasty chichiuaa (spelling WAY off I know..:LOL:) that attacked and bit someone or who've attacked other animals, sure the bite wounds aren't as severe as a bigger dogs bite but they do attack and they are nasty!. I have a nasty scar on my face from one of those "precious cute as a button" lap rats..I don't recall my attack (and it was a vicious one at that) making the news nor was the dog put down or anything else..hummmm wonder why that is

A dog attacking a human or another animal is just that..regardless of how big the dog is and how long/deep the bite marks are..

Ok..off the soapbox (for now :))

..that's somewhat odd to hear about....I wonder if the other is truly a Boxer too....I'd like to know all circumstances surrounding the attack.

That's what I was wondering!

What's sad is that they already have banned pitbulls in Denver so hopefully they don't blow this story out of proportion!

We all know Boxers would rather lick you to death ;)

Sadly, irresponsible owners are at fault, but the dogs and the poor lady are the ones that pay.

What is even scarier is this happened in Colorado which has some of the USA's most unfair pit bull bans. There are probably already some "officials" thinking that the boxer should be added.

My first thought was "barking and chasing"? Heck, my Jesse does that. Granted, they said the lady has bite wounds but had it been another breed, in my opinion it might have had alot worse of an outcome.

Thats horrible. I hope that lady is ok. But thats yet another reason for people to think that boxers are bad, move to the other isle when they see you coming or cross the street. It hurts my feeling for frankie b/c people act like that and he is a great dog. But the dogs going to be the way the owner raises them. And some people just should not be able to have dogs.

Exactly...it all goes back to the irresponsible owners. Last year five Rott/Pit mix dogs attacked and killed a 76 year old lady in a small town near here. Any size dog can be taught to be mean. It is sad. :mad:
