On feb 6 I let Beau out of the truck and he went "nuts" in the hotel. In a circle across the bed then down in front, around and around. After about 10 laps he stopped. Well it was time to dremel, on the third nail he tried to bite my wife. We was not going to brook any arguments from him. I decided to muzzel him. that took about 1-2 minutes; he died on us. After freaking out and then performing CPR I called 911.( We live in Southern Alabama and this was Albuquerque,N.M.) 911 passed us to Animal control, they gave us a number to a Rescue clinic. It was 10 minutes away, I think we made it in 7.
Beau spent 20 hours in an oxygen cage.The vet said Beau was still hyper and when I muzzeled him he swallwed his tongue and stopped breathing. We were a wreck. I just knew I killed him.
After 1 month Beau is normal, I had to write this to inform all who have not had a dog to learn from my experience.
