Boxers and Other dogs

I am wanting to get a boxer puppy soon but also want another dog, should I get two boxers or a boxer and a different breed. I was thinking along the lines of a schnauzer, I have read they get along well and really like the dogs as well. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.

Miniature Schnauzers and boxers get along great! Also consider pugs and boston terriers.

Why doesn't anyone else ever suggest a miniature dachshund? I guess I'm the only one who loves weenie dogs! My boys get along WONDERFULLY, too. I want a 3rd dog and when I eventually get one, it will be a Great Dane. Then, I'll have small, medium and large.... Happy puppy hunting!

Labs also get along great with boxers. They have just as much energy as our babies and can play for hours!

I have a chocolate labby and my boyfriends brother has a dashaund. One big happy family!!

Jon's parents have a mini schnazuer that 7yrs old,it took awhile but they are great mates now. It didnt help that Dakoda was a little B that chased Prue around with her mouth open like a crocodile!
I think they get along great with smaller dogs.
