Boxers and cats

J.C. doesn't like cats very much. He mainly treats them like his stuffed toys. He IS getting better with our cat though. He is a rescue though, so he may have some sort of prior bad experiences with cats that I don't know about.

Thanks for the replies everyone - Junkyardhawg was kindly enquiring on my behalf, as I'm extremely keen to have a Boxer, but concerned that my cat would freak out and run away at the sight of one in 'his house'.

Sounds like cats and Boxers are compatable, as long as they are introduced gradually to each other.

My cat was five when I brought Owen (1 year old rescue) home. She doen't care much for him, but he wants to be her friend. He also sniffs her to death, and he tries to eat her ears. My poor boy thinks they are friends, and my cat can't wait until the dog moves out :LOL: :LOL: ! She is still happy here, she just needs to be able to exscape the sniffs every once in a wihle. She's done way better than I expected too, as she HATES other cats.
