Boxer Pal
We took my 2 yr old boxer, Chloe (flashy fawn), to Galveston beach for the first time and she didn't care for the water too much. She had a wave hit her in the face and that was it! She did like watching the seagulls and trying to get them. I wish I could take her off the leash to watch her run but the beach will not allow it. Oh well. We left early because the flies were biting her and my family. I've never seen flies like that at the beach. It was miserable! The flies were even trying to get Chloe while we were walking along the beach. You couldn't get away from them.
Just this evening I noticed Chloe's mouth around her nose a little red. Is it sunburn or irritation from the salt water. We were only out there 2 hours. Is this normal for boxers? I put some vaseline on her but she is licking it off. Any suggestions?
