Boxer Work Day

I felt so bad putting Clover in her kennel this morning, I rounded up toys, blankets and food, put everything in my car and drove her to work with me. She loves running down the hallway (perfect for a game of fetch), and sitting in the chair watching the airplanes fly by. Right now she is destroying a stuffed animal. But she is being good!

Oh I would LOVE to bring Lael into work with me! Unfortunately my boss wouldn't approve. But all of my co-workers have dogs and have met her and LOVE her.

I'm jealous.

That is so cool! I wish I could bring Roxy in. She would be such a great helper. We would not need the shredder, just give it to her. She is also a great helper when it comes to typing!

I am also a teacher of Special Ed kids at a small high school in Philly. My Delilah does Therapy Dog work but is only insured when I am volunteering with her. I wish they would cover me at school as well but, alas, they don't. Delilah would have a blast here and the kids would looooove her!!!

You can get a rider on your homeowner's insurance if you really want to bring her in and it would solve the liabilliy problem. I have chosen not to even look into the expense because so many of our kids have asthma that it wouldn't be too good for them.

I take my Zoe into school with me every Friday. I teach 7th grade and the kids LOVE her!! It's also an incentive to get them to work harder during the week. I wish everyone could bring their boxer to work with them!

I wish I could take my Titan to work with me- but a dental office isn't quite the place for animals. However most of my patients have heard about him and they all think he's so funny. I did find a place that I sent pics of Titan in to and they are making a patch for me to attach to my scrubs so everyone can see my baby all day long. I'm so excited I can't wait to get it!!! I too work in a dental office and wish I could take my babies. My staff has to look at new pictures every week and all my patients know all about Rocky & Lucy. Some even ask about them when they come in. I am sure the patients would love my dogs if I could bring them but I would never get anything done if they were there. Besides then I would miss out on the happy dance they do when I get home at night. That makes my day. No person has ever been that happy to see me!
