boxer with 17 inch tongue!!!!

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to see if any of you caught CNN today about the Boxer with the 17 inch tongue??? I couldn't believe it and actually It made me kind of sad...don't know why....anyway, was wondering if he could be in pain from that or not...just so strange...I think if he were my pup, I would see if there was some type of procedure to take care of it...I dunno...just strange...If you haven't seen this dog, go to Tungdog.com and the owner has pix posted... take care everyone!
