Chloey

Boxer Pal
We've had our boxer Chloey for almost two weeks. She is currently 9 weeks old. She is already very well behaved, but I'm currently interested in basic training and in the future I will concentrate on some more advanced training. If any of you more experienced trainers/owners have any advice or literature for me It would be much appreciated.

Thank You

I know there are many more out there, if you do a search but these two will help you start.

Are you training at home? Or going to take your puppy to classes? There are pros and cons to both of these scenerios. If you take your puppy to classes, be research well the type of training the class does. There are many different methods of training. I would recommend sitting in on a class or two if you can before signing up. We did clicker training with Megan and I would highly recommend it for anyone.

Clicker Training

I'm not going to try to say that I'm a professional trainer, or even experienced, but this web site is a great place to learn how to do clicker training which I have found to be great. I have used it and my 12 week old is better behaved than any of my friends dogs. It just takes a little time invested and some really good treats to get your puppy interested.

I hope it can be of some help to you.cool2icon
