Jethro vs the Nylabone

Jethro won. I thought these were pretty hard to destroy but he got an end all gnarled up and was chewing on and swallowed a piece! small piece but still. OH you know what - these are the puppy ones - so i assume they are softer?

JW is the makers of the "Cuz" line and pretty much anything I've bought from them I still have. Though I recomend you try the sqeaker at the store because some have a pretty annoying tone to them. We have a "blue kitty" that only comes out when the dogs have been especially good and then it's only for about 20 mins becuase the noise it makes just drives me nuts! Of course it's one of the toys that Arabella loves to squeak over and over again.

OMG, Yes do check the squeaker! Layla's favorite is a JW ball with a squeaker that drives us nuts as well. She is relentless with it. LOL, I am sure she knows it bothers us because if we try to ignore her she makes even more noise while staring at us. We also have to put it away after a few minutes. I will guarantee the most obnoxious squeaker will be the one they love.

The Kong Wubba's are great, my girl JJ is on her second one. its a green Christmas one that hopefully will make it that far. Her last pink one she skinned and still keeps the skin to run around with. You ask her to show you her Wubba and she will run and find it. Nylabones are her favorites but they have to be a certain length, spoiled much?
Kong has these squeaky tennis balls called AirBalls that hold up really great, they do have a tendency to go missing under the couch though. Most mornings all I hear is SQUEAK SQUEAK thump thump SQUEAK SQUEAK thump thump as JJ runs through the house full speed with one of those darn balls.

I also found this rubber jack made by Okra. It says its for power chewers too. We've had it 3 weeks and it's still ok ha.

We have one of these as well......4 years old and still going strong. And it has been through two teething puppies (Both Cody and Aniah). Very durable toy.

Johann loves his kong wubba. We actually "stole" it from our rally instructor- he was playing with it during class as a reward and she (shockingly) did not want a toy that was saturated with drool back.

Now he gets it during class and for training sessions at home. He absolutely loves it, and it seems pretty durable. :)

My lab Riley and our baby boxer Cali love Lacross balls!

the only problem is that if they're playing with one inside and start tossing it around, things get dangerous. Lacross balls are REALLY solid and hard. If they hit you or something on a table, well, things don't go well! Hahaaa

Have you tried any of the Cuz toys? My dogs haven't been able to destroy any of those (yet....) JW Pet Good Cuz/Bad Cuz Dog Toys - Toys - Dog - PetSmart

We also have the everlasting fun ball and the everlasting treat ball:
Star Mark Everlasting Fun Ball for Dogs at PETCO

Just to add to this conversation...

My pup loooooves the Cuz toys and hasn't left a single mark on it. We also have a 1yr old lab mix (rescue) that's been chewing the thing to death for over 4 months and has yet to leave a single mark. Just be forwarned that their squeak is annoying!

Also, the AKC line of toys that look like animals, i.e. squirrels, ducks, and such are great. They are made for retrievers but my male LOVES LOVES LOVES his squirrel. It goes everywhere with us.

My dogs love to play tug of war with these, and when Arabella was younger they would last maybe a month, but now that she is full grown, between my two were lucky to get a day out one. And the knock off don't last 5 mins.
