Just tuned into a dog show on Animal Planet - not sure which show, and the Boxer male just won the Working Group!! YEAH!!!! Tune in for Best in Show and rub your fur babies for luck!!

We were out for dinner and I made hubby leave to come home so I could watch the working group Dexter is quite a handsome fella !! Rub your babies for luck and keep everything crossed !!

I'm watching it right now - it's the Eukanuba Cup. I missed the Working Group however, so I'm really excited that the Boxer actually took his group! I can't wait for Best in Show so I can see Dexter strut his stuff

Umm, is this the Houston show? As far as I can tell this dog show took place in 2001(according to the information guide we get with our cable). I might be wrong, but this is the info I have. Not trying to ruin it for anybody, just thought you should know.

I feel lousy-first cause I called the beautiful boxer Dexter when his name is actually Derrick (-I just got so excited to see him win his group-:P guess my heaing wasn't quite working ) and secondly because he didn't get BIS. :( I thought this was a current show as Ron Regan was talking about the new sharpei that his mom Nancy was given shortly after the former president passed away. Either way,it was a good show,all the dogs looked great but it would have been grand for the boxer boy to win. But he's a winner with us here at BW !!!

Yeah - I'm pretty sure it's the Houston show. Why would AP run such an old show? Oh well, old or new - Derrick is a beautiful boxer boy He didn't win BIS which is a bummer :( Seems like it's always the little dogs who take that (although I know that's not true - I just love the bigger dogs)

The show can't be old. Animal Planet wouldn't make such a big deal about it if it were three years old. Plus, the neopolitan mastiff was in working group, and they just got put into working group recently. I think they were still in miscellaneous or not even reg'd with AKC in 2001(forgive me, I don't know much about the neo.) Also the spinone was in sporting, and it used to be in miscellaneous not too long ago too. Also, Derrick or Derrek(however you spell his name) I don't believe is too old.. I'm not sure exactly how old he is, but probably was a pup or still wet behind the ears in 2001. Just imo.. It was a good show though! I was so hoping Derrick would go BIS! Oh well, we can hope!

Coleman, a little toy poodle, won BIS. He's the #1 ranked dog of all breeds in the U.S... I'm not much of a poodle fan though(no offense to anyone).
