boxer size

I have a 7.5 mo. old boxer. Both her mother and her father were large, weighing in at 65 lbs. and 90 lbs. respectively. However, my little bunchkin is only about 35 lbs. I can easily pick her up, and she is so tiny! She is healthy as a horse (whatever that means! ) and eats well. Is this normal? I am just curious. I am not unhappy, and will be pleased if she stays small. Do boxers just take a while to fill out, or is she destined to be a mini-boxer?

Molly is full grown and 45lbs. She is our little princess. Being smaller has its health advantages, not as much chance for hip/arthritis problems. Just don't let 'em get fat.

No chance of a chubby boxer. She does not like food that much! You have to prove that you will eat it first before she will even sniff it.

Abby was not full-grown until she was at least a year. Now she's a year and a half and weighs 60 lbs.

at 6 months, my male is 38lbs and always has access to dry food...but rarely eats it. ( he has no problem downing the other three cans of 24 oz wet food when i give it to him)

Mind you, she will eat my food if given the opportunity. but if it is a dog treat, she has to see #1. Will you eat it? (I put on a good act) and #2. What do I have to do to get it? If she is not convinced, she'll walk away. You should see the gormet dog treats I have around the house. Little stinker.

Just a tidbit of information for you. boxers dont fully mature until 2-3 years of age. they have a slower growth rate. so dont worry about her size she has a lot of time to go yet. hope this shed some light for you.

ok... Krose is almost 16 months old right now and weighs 66 lbs. He is very tall though.. about 62cm. You'll have to calculate that to inches :p He is almost the tallest Boxer I've seen in Istanbul really. But he has not yet filled in. It is very strange really, I sometimes call him ''the stork'' :D
It was only 2 weeks ago that I finally loosen up his collar after 7 months! For 7 months he was the same size!!!! Was not gaining weight at all. He gained 1 kilo, 2.2 pounds 2 weeks ago and that is the result.. I should post some new pics of him so you all can see how much he's grown!
