We are boxer-sitting this weekend and Victoria is having a BLAST!!! (so is Deuce, as far as I can tell. LOL)

They have played nonstop for hours, gone on a walk, and played again nonstop for hours. :)

We have been having just the greatest time and I'm so glad. :) We had never 'met' another boxer and I was not sure how Victoria would react 'for sure'. She is good with my parents' and my sister's lab but I just wondered how she would be with another dog on her 'turf'...she's done so well we're considering another boxer in the spring once we have completed an advanced training for Victoria. She's still such an exuberant puppy we're not willing to add a new dog quite yet.

Victoria might be sad when her friend has to go home, its wonderful to watch their personality shine when they get with a playmate, look at their face, its like they are grining from ear to ear. Hanley

She is sad. LOL
She went directly to her crate and laid down... then she came out to play tug with daddy, and then she laid in her crate. And then... the 'boxer sigh'... she misses Deuce already.

Now I know tomorrow she'll be looking at me like ... "uh, Mom?? Where's my friend??"...

Deuce was a great friend for her for the weekend. they played really well together.

Your insight as to 'she would be lonely' is very much correct.

Even the skin kids wanted to keep Deuce. LOL

I do a lot of boxer sitting for a friend of mine who has a 3 yr old female....Maddie Mae is her name. Her and Arley are the best play mates, I love to have her over!! But, only a true boxer lover could really tolerate all the action:D: If I could I would have a herd of boxers, I just love them.

When Maddie goes home Arley sleeps for 2 days!!

I am glad you guys had a fun weekend.
