Good luck with your situation. I just want to agree with the others about providing vet and training refrerences if possible. Even if a landlord initially says no, it wouldn't hurt to attempt to change his/her mind.

Have you tried putting your own ad in the paper? Mention the dog and how how well behaved/trained he is, and also mention that you can provide excellent references on behalf of his behavior and disposition. Some dog lover out there(aren't they great?) might see it and help you out.

I am sorry about your situation. I hope it works out for you. If only they could see that your furbaby is probably more well behaved than most of the kids who live in the apartment!!! ;-)

That is a tricky situation you are in, you are very well prepared though, if I was a landlord I would think that you are a very considerate & responsible person whether I had dogs of my own or not. Good luck

Kaida - Good luck! You sound well prepared.

Mattsharper - I am in Toronto. There is an apartment on Balliol which has a boxer in it. Unfortunately, I do not know the address. Good luck!
