I have been busy contacting my local Boxer rescues over the past couple of days. I didn't think that there were any boxer rescues in the uk, just mix breed rescues. I had contacted a couple of Boxer clubs and somebody gave me a link to a site for all the rescue organisations in the UK. (www.dogpages.co.uk). On here I have found a number of Boxer rescues and have sent e-mails to a number of them. This morning I got a call from Mrs Dawson at the White Boxer rescue center in Preston. She asked me a few questions about where I live etc, etc. I told her I get my new house a week tomorrow and would want to adopt as near that date as possible, so Stella is also new to the house so she isn't as territorial. The one main stumbleing block is that the Dog will be left at home with Stella for between 4-8 hours a day, Monday to Friday. She said they might have a sutible dog for me to adopt. His name is Buster and he is a White male, two years of age. She is going to check with the lady who has him at the moment to see if he is disruptive when left alone. Hopefully if he is ok when left alone, Buster will be living with us on a two week trail to see if he settles in ok.
I will keep you posted.

I didn't get a call back from Mrs Dawson, which means Buster was not suitable. Never mind she said she would keep my details on record and contact me if they get a suitable canidate. The search Continues.....

It is a slow process. Give them a few days. There is paperwork to fill out, an interview to be had (which may have been the phone call)and a home check before they allow the dog to come live with you.
More than likely they will get back in touch with you.

Boxer Rescue - UK

Hi - I also live in the UK - did have two boxers now have one as we lost our older boxer to a heart attack - I have contacted Cathy McGrath at Boxer Rescue UK - e.mail http://www.boxer-rescue.co.uk - she seems very helpful and although they did not have a white boxer she is keeping my name to hand for when one does. They have all sorts of coloured boxers there though - some have been through a lot of trauma - but well worth looking at the site. Hope I have been of some help.
