Hope anyone will be able to help me with this one.

When I worked at the kennels, (Viewfar Kennels, Carmyllie, Scotland) we had Boxer rescue for Scotland - and that is how I ended up with Bentley.

After I left the kennels, Lesley kept Boxer Rescue for some time before giving it up. (Medical reasons). I have searched on the internet, I have phoned people - but I have been unable to find out who is now running Boxer Rescue for Scotland...?

I know that there is one dedicated for White Boxers, and basically covers the whole of the UK, and then some Boxer Rescues down in England.....but what about Scotland?

Any help would be appreciated greatly.
Thanks :)

You could try the Scottish Boxer Club they have contacts listed on there web site. You could also try Boxer Wlefare for Scotland they also have a web site.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

Thank you to both of you, but still no luck.
Looks like there is no Boxer Rescue in Scotland any more, just some breeders that assist in re-homing dogs of their own stock etc.

I need to have a think about this one.....

Thanks kactus, I have tried that one, but as you can see - the web site has not been updated for a while and I have e-mailed them before without any success.

I now starting to think about doing something myself if I decide to stay in this country. If I go back home, well I will set up something there instead.

Thanks again

Of course it's a link. It was clickable, was it not? Besides which, the rules clearly state that you cannot mention or otherwise promote any rescue that hasn't been approved by the site owner. And you've even been specifically invited to provide your information so that that group can be approved. Either provide it, per the rules, or don't mention it at all.

i said sorry & it was a genuine mistake & has now been rectified.
here are some more links for SCOTTISH rescue sites that i found..might help or might not, these are maybe the ones you have already tried, but its worth a try anyway...

Am I not being clear here? If a rescue is not a non-profit organisation that has submitted its information to the site owner, and received approval (in which case it will be LISTED as approved), then you cannot post links to it on this site.

Those rescues have not submitted any information, they are NOT in the list of rescues approved by the site owner, we have no idea whether they're non-profit or not (or whether they wish their details to be posted on a large public website). Do NOT post links like that anywhere or in any form on this site.

Next time I'm removing more than the offending link.
