OMG! I wasn't even thinking either! I can't believe I didn't even introduce myself to anyone thinking one of them might be you! Jasmine was a very good girl to Disney! And actually Michael and I said she looks like Oskar but with natural ears and a bit smaller! Though Oskar is just about 2! I thought all of the boxer babies were wonderful until Oskar got in there! We will have to get toghther!

Well, I did manage to sneak out of work for a little bit and meet the boxers.
I must say I was most impressed!
I had no idea what to expect and debated weather or not to bring my wildchild Ca$h. (honest, he DOES know how to behave in public)
I figured I'd bring him Sat and hopefully bring Sonji out to meet the gang on Sunday.
Paula had a beautiful display and was armed with information and handouts of available boxers. She answered so many questions from me and everyone that stopped because of intrest. There was a good size crowd and everyone loved the dogs.
I was surprised how few people knew what breed they were and were so curious to meet and touch them.
So many questions about size, ears, temperaments and health and Paula was so quick with the answers.
Her boy Bubba was a real sweatheart and took everyone in with open paws.He was so well behaved and mild mannered, just great with everyone.
Her assistant had a gorgeous white boy that is deaf and followed all his hand signals down to a T. People were impressed with his skills and learning abilities.
And then there was my Ca$h- who misbehaved and embarrassed me (as usual) He's a people dog and demanded that everyone get a huge hug from him. He even tried to make off with the donation jar and a ladys purse. Everything is play play play with him.
I apologize for his behavior and hope we didn't scare any potential adoptees from even considering the breed.

I'm sorry we missed you Stef. I had plans on bringing Sonji out to your day but we had a family emergency.

Glad you had a good time. And I don't think Ca$h was acting all that badly, he was just excited. Of course, I don't know that some of the people he gave hugs to feel the same way as I do, !

I think it was a great success (and I was sorry I couldn't get to the one on Sunday.) We had several people interested in adopting or volunteering, and we raised $35! I will plan on doing more BRADs in the future, so when I do I'll post here to let everyone know. Bubba had an awesome time meeting all the dogs - he was SO tired by the time we got home. Tired, but happy!

I wanted to send you a PM with my contact info so we could get our babies together, but apparently we can't PM anymore... And we can't list our emails in the forums, soooo I guess the only way you can contact me is to get my email off our second chance website (It will be listed as a contact when I sponser a BRAD in the area), I have a couple coming up in March and April! Feel Free to send me an email if you want to get Oskar and Jasmine together to play, or just how up at our local BRADs again!!
