I have a 2 year old female Boxer. She weighs 45 pounds, and is in very good shape. I wonder though why when she gets so excited to see one of us, she bends her body in the middle, and it's like she wants to wag her tail so hard, but since it's not there, she gets frustrated, and she ends up looking at us with her face and her butt at the same time...she bends in half..it's funny, but wierd!?

ROFL! You didn't know that? It's a typical boxer behaviour when they get excited when greeting people. Looks so cute, doesn't it? ;)
BTW, a lady I know owns a spaniel, and it does the same thing. I thought only boxers did it, but it turned out not! :)

I still think they are trying to get us to greet them by sniffing their butts, like another dog would greet them. I still refuse. Clio still offers.

I just posted about this!! Fugger does the same thing. I was wondering what it meant when one poster said her dog kidney beans when his "daddy" comes home. I love it!!

I love this boxer trait! Nedra just gets so excited to see mommy and daddy when they return home that she starts the sideways happy dance! It is so cute! All of our relatives laugh at her as she scoots across the floor walking sideways!!
