Boxer or Pit Mix????

He just showed up at our local shelter and the staff there are unsure! I was thinking of going to look at him. He has the boxer teeth.... Any ideas????

OMG! He is gorgeous!I say "YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!" I got into Boxers because of Stewie a Pitmix that went away to young. :(

I had to chose a dog to bring back joy into my life and I chose the Boxer , the eyes and personality and that worked so we got/had Struddel)!

That guy as they say"has it going on!!!!!!!!!

I would bet money on an American Bull Dog/Boxer mix. He's a winner in my book!

The sign says Boxer mix but no one seems to have any info on him or what he is mixed with. He came in as a stray and has not even been to the vet yet. He goes on Wednesday. The shelter just opened last year and they know very little about dogs( for example, they had male and female dogs in the same kennel that were not fixed when they 1st opened). It was run out of a barn for approximately 10 years prior to opening the actual "shelter" building and it only had cats. Once the building opened they started taking dogs. His name is Petpo due to his pink lips...I don't know who comes up with these names..... You are right though...I see more American bulldog then Pit bull if he is actually a mix...he is still sooo cute!

Yeah I see boxer and/or AmBull. Lots of places automatically label dogs like this as "boxer mix" just because that's more appealing/easier to adopt out than a pit bull mix. He does look very boxer-ish though.

You need to get that dogggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!! He is to cool! And yes those people don't know jack! That is an AM BullDog/Boxer mix if ever there was one!

The first thing that came to my mind was American Bulldog Boxer mix. The legs/feet look more ABD to me, than boxer. But the face is all boxer. :D

Looks very sweet. And I LOVE the name Pepto!!! LOL

Definitely go look at him at least.
